Chronicle builds purposeful brands through powerful storytelling.

We’re a South African-based editorial & commercial content production studio that is driven to convey the human experience through the craft of audio-visual and digital storytelling. By placing people at the core of every story, we seek to transform even the most complex, corporate or statistics-heavy project into a compelling and engaging experience, with excellence, poignancy and compassion.

As a partner company to the Daily Maverick, Chronicle is well positioned to offer both multimedia production services and integrated access to one of South Africa’s premium publishing platforms, as well as a host of partner websites through its affiliated independent advertising network, Acme Digital.

Chronicle is committed to addressing inequality in South Africa by making its productions available to the communities it reports in, encouraging and enabling more citizens to access – and adding value & vibrancy to – an informed national discourse.
